About Us Virtual Gathering of Education Change Agents
Kaizenvest Education Symposium (KES) is a virtual gathering of education sector enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, investors, grant providers, foundations and impact agents. This virtual gathering will discuss the pivotal role of SDG 4 in achieving targets for all other SDGs, starting with a new education impact dimensions framework developed by Kaizenvest in collaboration with industry partners.
The main sessions will bring global leaders to discuss timely topics in education such as the role of technology; the role of smart and creative finance; and, the importance of gender targets in achieving overall impact targets and a more equitable education system across socioeconomic strata.

Session 1: State of Education - The Kaizenvest Framework

Session 2: Edu-Finance Innovation: Race to the bottom
This session will discuss the role of all financing options including the role of the largest financers: the government; traditional sources such as impact investors, venture capitalists and private equity/credit; and, the most innovative finance in the domain, which is performance-driven blended finance.
Session 3: Edu-Impact in Our World: Access, Quality, Relevance
Wholistic education prepares an individual for better self-realization, a society for better prosperity, and a nation for better overall equitable wellbeing. This session will discuss the nuances of using hard data to measure education impact and what could be done better by the education investor fraternity to create a common impact language for the sector.
Session 4: Edu-Tech in the Now Normal: Beyond Covid-19
This session will explore how the latest developments in education technology are shaping the future of our learning society. It will also discuss how Covid-19 has changed learning at all levels and how innovative tech-led solutions have been deployed.
Session 5: Advancing Gender Equality Opportunities in Edu-Tech
This session will discuss existing and emerging challenges and opportunities to advance gender equality in Edu-tech. It will also discuss the importance of recruiting and retaining female students and women educators during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
